Dr. Alysha Helmrich, Negin Shamsi (PhD Student), and Swagato Ankon (MS Student) attended the 2024 International Symposium on Sustainable Systems and Technology this June in Baltimore, Maryland to present their work on de-centralization or centralization in infrastructure for resilience, infrastructure interdependencies, and alternative data for flood monitoring, respectively. Helmrich also served as a thematic chair for the Sustainability and Resiliency of Energy and Infrastructure Systems track.
