Coastal Resilience Engineer
Mackenzie Hulse is a Coastal Resilience Engineer for IRIS. She earned her B.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Georgia in 2025. Throughout her time at UGA, she focused on water resource management and geospatial analysis, using advanced software to develop her skills in watershed modeling. Mackenzie has worked with both private and public clientele, gaining an understanding of complex infrastructure landscapes throughout Georgia. Within the university, research was an important piece of her education working in labs throughout her tenure. While not working, you can find her outside enjoying nature, listening to music, or making anything from clothes to cookies.
