Each year, IRIS affiliates gather to discuss their research areas, strategically plan for the coming years, and strengthen their connections to facilitate the highly interdisciplinary work they do.

This past week, we met at Amicalola Falls lodge, where we spent two days together enjoying the beautiful view of the valley, hiking the infamous never-ending staircase that descends to the bottom of the falls, and working on defining our norms and values as part of the strategic planning process.
