Alfie Vick is the Georgia Power Professor in Environmental Ethics at the University of Georgia. He is a licensed landscape architect and a LEED Fellow. He continues to practice as a principal at Solidago Design Solutions and his professional work has included several LEED-certified buildings, including the LEED Platinum headquarters of the Southface Energy Institute in Atlanta, Georgia. Alfred is past-Chair of the Sustainable Sites Technical Advisory Group for the US Green Building Council, Founding Chair of the Athens Branch of the US Green Building Council and is on the Board of Directors of the Athens Land Trust.
